How Sydion, LLC handles information on www.sydion.net.
What this website collects
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, as described below. We don't use advertising trackers.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to see how visitors find and use this website: which pages are viewed, the general area visitors are in (such as a city or state), the type of device and browser they use, and how they arrived, for example from a search engine. This helps us improve the site.
Google Analytics sets cookies, named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, so it can
recognize a returning browser. These cookies don't identify you by name. Google uses your IP address to
estimate your general location, and states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP
addresses.
This website's code turns off Google's advertising features for Google Analytics (Google signals and ad personalization) and does not allow advertising cookies, so Google Analytics is used here only to measure how the site is used. Google Analytics keeps this data for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, currently two months, and then deletes it automatically.
When you send our contact form, Google Analytics is told only that an inquiry was sent and whether it was a demo request, a quote request or a general question. Your name, organization, email address, phone number and message are never sent to Google.
Google handles this information under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
If you visit from the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics runs only after you accept it. Elsewhere it is on by default, and you can turn it off here at any time. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to keep analytics off.
Checking your analytics setting…
Your choice is saved in this browser. If you clear your browser data, or use another browser or device, you'll need to choose again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
When you use the contact form
The form on our Request a Demo page asks for your name, agency or organization, work email and the kind of inquiry, and, if you choose to give them, your job title, state, phone number and a message. We use this information only to reply to you and to provide the demo, quote or answer you asked for.
When you send the form, your message is checked and then delivered by email to Sydion staff through Resend, an email delivery service. The website itself does not store it in a database. We keep inquiry emails as normal business correspondence, and Resend may also keep records of the messages it delivers, under its own privacy policy.
To limit repeated submissions, the site briefly keeps a one-way, scrambled code made from your IP address (not the address itself). It is deleted automatically within an hour.
Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. Turnstile runs a check in your browser when the Request a Demo page loads and sends technical information about your browser and device to Cloudflare for that purpose only. It is a service of Cloudflare, Inc., which handles that information under its own privacy policy. Turnstile is only loaded on the Request a Demo page.
Email and phone
If you email or call us instead, we use what you tell us in the same way: to respond and to provide what you asked for. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
